Softserve’s biolock technology brings bio-authentication to Credit Card Security System

The customer, Credit Card Security System, faced the significant challenge of rampant credit card fraud, including skimming, phishing, and card-not-present schemes, which resulted in billions of dollars in annual losses. To combat this, they worked with SoftServe to implement its BioLock technology, a bio-authentication service that verifies a user's identity.

SoftServe's solution utilized Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to create a highly accurate and secure method of authentication by measuring the human body's resistance to an electromagnetic flow. This technology provided a one-of-a-kind verification experience for payment processing and access control, eliminating the need for physical keys or passwords and offering an outstanding level of security for the customer's cardholders and restricted premises.
