Security Assessment and Architecture Implementation on GCP Ensures Secure Product Deployments for Multinational Retail Giant

SoftServe worked with Multinational Retail Group, a retail company operating hypermarket and grocery chain brands, to standardize and secure its multi-cloud application platform. The customer needed a way to continuously develop, deploy, and protect applications across cloud and private data center environments while reducing hard coding, speeding delivery, and improving operational efficiency.

SoftServe performed a security assessment and then designed and implemented a GCP security architecture for the customer’s internal PaaS, including controls for GKE, Cloud SQL, GCS, Datastore, and the resource orchestrator that provisions infrastructure with Terraform and Kubernetes. The result was a tailored ISMS framework and security control set aligned with industry standards, helping Multinational Retail Group maintain a strong security posture across hybrid environments and enabling more secure future product deployments.
