SoftServe worked with a leading banking and financial services company headquartered in Frankfurt to address the challenge of building a centrally managed risk management platform for a high-volume investment banking environment. The client needed a unified system to coordinate diverse data activities, group risks, and support strict regulatory, data governance, and business intelligence requirements across its investment banking operations.

SoftServe, in partnership with Cloudera, designed and delivered a new version of the platform architecture using technologies including CDH, HDFS, Spark, Hive, Impala, Kafka, and Scala-based services. The solution was built to handle up to 260 billion original messages per day, improved scalability and reliability, reduced development time through reusable frameworks, and enabled real-time and same-day liquidity risk insights while helping the client meet banking regulations.
