A SoftServe Case Study
SoftServe worked with a leading Eastern European bank operating across 17 major cities. As the bank grew through acquisitions and aimed to quadruple its market share, it faced poor IT infrastructure, immature and changing processes, limited in-house project expertise, and an overreliance on formal procedures—while also needing a quick launch of its factoring product and more customized services for corporate clients.
SoftServe implemented a business process management–based solution with modules for product and service configuration, receivables processing, payments and billing, reporting, and administration, supported by an ESB integration architecture. Using a mix of waterfall and agile methods, SoftServe helped the bank reduce costs, speed up development and maintenance, and quickly adapt processes, products, commissions, and deferments with greater flexibility.
