Leading Smart Home Technology Provider partnered with SoftServe to build a reusable performance testing framework that could support future scalability testing, model system behavior when components became unavailable, and proactively identify resource bottlenecks. The customer wanted a solution that could be maintained by its existing team using current infrastructure and tools, including its .NET application, MSSQL database, Salesforce, payment and loan services, and iOS apps.

SoftServe implemented a performance testing approach that reused functional tests with minimal modification and integrated existing tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Visual Studio, and Jenkins to collect logs, infrastructure metrics, and application data. The work was completed on time, giving the client time to fix performance issues before release, avoid schedule delays, and take ownership of a framework that required no new tools and could be reused for future projects.
