A SoftServe Case Study

Preview of the Nestle Case Study

Nestlé leverages aws For microclimate supply Chain management

Nestlé, the world’s largest transnational food and beverages supplier, needed a way to measure temperature and humidity and control microclimate across its supply chain, including its own warehouses, partner warehouses, and industrial sites. To address this challenge, Nestlé worked with SoftServe and used AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support the project.

SoftServe implemented a solution built on Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, and Redshift, combining IoT and big data capabilities with customized dashboards, embedded reporting tools, and three levels of notifications. The system enabled Nestlé to detect breakdowns, remotely monitor and control warehouse microclimates, and centralize data from multiple control points, helping improve productivity, optimize operations, and reduce the risk of product deterioration.
