Mobile Homecare Application for a Healthcare Information Technology Leader

Leading Healthcare Information Technology Provider, a leader in healthcare software and connectivity solutions used by physicians, hospitals, and homecare organizations nationwide, needed to modernize its home healthcare offering. Its existing laptop-based system allowed clinicians to review patient data offline and update records during visits, but the company wanted a more flexible mobile solution that could work across devices and support both online and offline use with real-time synchronization. SoftServe partnered with the customer to build the new Mobile Homecare application.

SoftServe delivered a Windows Phone 7-based Mobile Homecare application for clinicians, including homemakers and physical therapists, with secure HIPAA-aligned data encryption and compression, anti-hijacking protections, traffic tracking, complex scheduling support, and access to current clinical data at the point of care. The solution improved real-time information exchange, made data entry and record updates easier, increased flexibility and time management, and helped lower hardware costs while supporting better, more efficient patient care.
