Media company optimizes business processes with data quality framework

American Mass Media Corporation, a U.S.-based radio broadcasting company with hundreds of stations worldwide, was dealing with large, geographically distributed data sources across many stakeholders, making data integrity and quality difficult to control. It turned to SoftServe to design a cloud-based data quality framework on Google Cloud Services (GCS) to support more reliable business, finance, and advertising analytics.

SoftServe conducted an onsite discovery phase and is now building a proof of concept using Apache Beam, Java, GCP, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Bigtable to create flexible data processing pipelines and a centralized data lake. The solution is intended to speed up development of complex data pipelines, improve data aggregation and business process optimization, and help the customer launch new revenue pipelines faster.
