The client, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology company, needed to integrate its Canvas Learning Management System with various Student Information Systems (SIS) to automate data import/update processes and enable a flexible, self-paced learning format for students. They partnered with SoftServe to overcome this challenge and develop three distinct integration solutions within a constrained three-month timeframe.
SoftServe assembled a dedicated team that successfully delivered all three integrations, including two SIS connections and a Flexible Learning LTI application. The solution allows instructors to seamlessly pass information to Canvas and gives administrators powerful tools to manage and modify master schedules and individual student plans. As a result, the client's platform now supports robust SIS integrations, enabling near real-time data updates and providing extensive student achievement statistics and notifications to users.
