SoftServe worked with World’s Leading Management Consulting and Advisory Company, a global professional services firm offering financial reporting, assurance, advisory, tax, auditing, governance, risk, and board advisory services. The customer’s IT organization was struggling to support business demand, leading to shadow IT, environment sprawl, and inconsistent infrastructure, while also needing stronger DevOps capabilities, self-service for engineering teams, improved IT KPIs, and better production support.
SoftServe used its DevOps assessment methodology and High-Performance Enterprise IT Organization model to evaluate the current state, create a DevOps Center of Excellence, and build a transformation roadmap for selected pilot applications and business functions. The results were strong: critical application deployment time dropped from five weeks to two days, time to production was reduced from months to less than two weeks, application resource consumption was cut by more than 12X, and report generation performance improved more than 5X. Within three months, the client entered a new business cycle without IT-related delays for the first time in a decade.
