Distributed Agile Practice for the Healthcare Solution

Veradigm, a major healthcare provider serving over 160,000 physicians and 800 hospitals, partnered with SoftServe to develop and maintain its Homecare solution. As the product grew in complexity, the traditional Waterfall development model became a challenge, prompting a need for a more advanced and responsive methodology to improve clinical care and operational control.

SoftServe implemented a Distributed Agile practice, which included regular SCRUM meetings, zero sprints for planning, and close collaboration with a Product Owner and Client Focus Group. This solution, supported by various online communication tools, fostered strong communication and continuous feedback. As a result, SoftServe delivered increased transparency, accelerated time to market, and improvements in quality and efficiency for Veradigm.
