Big Data Web Analytics Platform on AWS for Yottaa

Yottaa, a website acceleration platform provider, needed to build an in-house Operation Intelligence platform to quickly detect performance and security issues across web and mobile applications. It turned to SoftServe for help, with an Agile approach and a proof-of-concept strategy to address the high-volume, semi-structured big data challenge.

SoftServe delivered a Big Data analytics solution on AWS using Amazon EMR, S3, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and log-processing tools such as Pig, Hive, Flume, and Kafka. The team proved near-real-time analytics at scale, tuning Elasticsearch for high-concurrency workloads and creating an interactive dashboard in less than a day; the platform was designed to handle 1 billion messages per day, about 300 TB of data, sub-1-minute event latency, and sub-3-second query response times.
