Semafone, a leading provider of data security and compliance solutions for contact centers, needed a fast way to launch a secure omnichannel payment platform for non-voice channels such as web chat, email, QR codes, and social media. As a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider, Semafone also needed the new cloud-agnostic architecture to be secure, compliant, and supported by a dedicated team, all within a tight three-month timeline. SoftServe helped build the solution, including Semafone’s Cardprotect Relay+ product.
SoftServe developed the AWS-hosted web-based payment service from scratch, using a prepared Landing Zone, Infrastructure-as-Code, and a secure software development lifecycle with architecture analysis, code review, and penetration testing. The resulting platform integrates with payment service providers, delivers real-time customer updates, and meets PCI DSS Level 1 requirements while remaining database-agnostic, fault tolerant, and highly available.
