World’s Most Advanced Automobile Manufacturers, one of Europe’s largest vehicle producers, wanted to launch a new mobile online service for navigation and vehicle connection with a smartphone. To ensure the app met security requirements before release, the company engaged SoftServe for an application security assessment, including threat modeling, static code testing, dynamic testing, and manual penetration testing.

SoftServe’s security team completed a two-week grey-box assessment using OWASP standards and automation tools such as IBM AppScan Source and Veracode. SoftServe identified vulnerabilities that made the app unstable and exposed it to intrusion, then delivered recommendations for the mobile app, server-side components, and overall design/logic, helping prevent potential hacking, privacy breaches, and safety risks.
