Telestream, a global leader in workflow automation, media processing, and video quality, needed a revenue management strategy that could keep up with increasingly complex billing and revenue recognition processes. Its accounting team was spending three to four days each month on manual month-end close work and struggled with proportional SSP allocations, while also needing a solution that could integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. Softrax implemented the SOFTRAX Revenue Management System, integrating it with Telestream’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and automating complex ASC 606 processes in a touchless way. The result was improved efficiency, stronger controls and compliance, and a significantly shorter monthly close process. Softrax also helped reduce manual effort and future hiring needs, freeing the accounting team to focus on more strategic work.
