A Softrax Case Study
Park Place Technologies needed a better way to handle revenue recognition as it grew, since its previous system still required manual, contract-by-contract intervention and took 20–30 minutes per contract to set up. In Summer 2020, Park Place went live on the SOFTRAX Revenue Management System (RMS) to replace that process and improve visibility into asset-level revenue position reporting.
With SOFTRAX RMS, Park Place implemented full Level III automation for both contract processing and revenue-treatment decisions, including complex post-processing. The results were significant: Park Place estimated savings of 40–50 person-hours in the first month after go-live and more than 60 hours per month by August, while supporting higher transaction volumes without additional headcount. SOFTRAX also helped improve security, controls, and reporting efficiency.
