How ESA / LOVE Inc. helped 1000+ community members with a mobile app

ESA / Love Inc., a nonprofit network in Fresno, California, needed a better way to connect community members with housing, job training, mental health support, food banks, and other essential resources. Their old process relied on paper intake forms and in-person help during business hours, which caused delays and made coordination inefficient. To replace a costly custom build, they turned to Softr, along with Airtable and Make, to create a more accessible digital solution.

Softr helped power LOVE NET 559, a no-code mobile app built in under three months that automated intake, communication, and volunteer coordination. The platform supports community members, organizations, and volunteers with multilingual access, text/QR-code inquiries, a resource map of 180+ organizations, and a volunteer portal for case notes and onboarding. The results were significant: 1,000+ people connected to resources, 180+ organizations streamlined in one network, and 100+ volunteers able to work more efficiently—at about one-tenth of the quoted cost of traditional development.
