With its growing business and need to reduce latency, the company turned to SoftLayer for a robust, customizable solution that could support high-volume, real-time ad serving.
SoftLayer implemented a tailored bare metal server infrastructure with specialized appliances, monitoring, and geographically strategic data centers, including Washington, D.C. This helped Opera Response cut ad-servicing time in half, reduce round-trip time by about 30 milliseconds, and grow from two servers to more than 100. With SoftLayer, Opera Response also doubled revenues and profits each year without increasing headcount.
