Teple Misto launches city scanning app in less than 2.5 weeks with Softjourn

Teple Misto, an NGO organizing an urban festival in Ivano-Frankivsk, faced the challenge of creating a functionally rich mobile app to engage attendees, notify them of events, and encourage participation in projects, all within a very aggressive deadline. They partnered with Softjourn for custom software and mobile development services to meet this challenge.

Softjourn implemented a rapid development solution, building prototypes and native apps in both English and Ukrainian in under two and a half weeks. The resulting City Scanning app provided a centralized information hub with a newsfeed, city guide, map, and listings for workshops, transportation, and dining. The solution was very well received, with attendees reporting that having all necessary information readily available greatly enhanced their festival experience and made navigation effortless.
