Tacit Innovations expands Apple Pay access to 30 million Interac cardholders with Softjourn

Tacit Innovations, a Toronto-based leader in the mobile order-and-payments industry, sought to accelerate the market penetration of its Maegan app by expanding its user base to include consumers who prefer to use Apple Pay funded by debit cards. Softjourn developed the first-ever code to enable in-app Apple Pay purchases using Interac debit cards. This solution removed a barrier to adoption, significantly expanded the potential user base to include debit card users and millennials, and delivered a frictionless payment experience.
