Softjourn R&D, the internal team of technology services vendor Softjourn, Inc., faced the challenge of having 25+ years of valuable project experience scattered across case studies, PM logs, and team memory. This institutional knowledge was not structured for AI search, making it difficult to leverage for practical applications like connecting prospective leads to relevant past work.

Softjourn, Inc. implemented a solution involving three separate AI-powered ingestion pipelines to structure this knowledge into a single, searchable vector database. On top of this, they built a lead generation pipeline accessible through a custom Slack bot. The results included the creation of the structured knowledge base itself, a reusable serverless platform architecture, and three fully functional Slack bot commands developed over six months with 398 commits and 12 releases.
