PEX Card launches 2 mobile apps with Softjourn, Inc. to cut support calls

PEX Card, a major expense management platform, sought to improve control over corporate spending by offering its users a simpler way to add and approve expenses. They needed a scalable, cost-efficient solution that could authorize purchases globally. To meet this challenge, they partnered with vendor Softjourn, Inc. for its research & development and digital product design services.

Softjourn implemented a hybrid application using HTML5 and PhoneGap, creating two cross-platform apps for both administrators and cardholders. This solution from Softjourn dramatically increased convenience for users, reduced calls to customer support for balance checks and fund transfers, and increased overall cost efficiency for PEX Card. The successful apps were made available for download on the Apple Store and Google Play.
