Gomes da Costa (GDC), the largest sardine packing company in Latin America founded in 1954, was struggling with extensive paper-based document management, manual signature approvals that caused process deviations, and maintenance requests that were not centrally managed—undermining the reliability of operational data. To address these issues, Gomes da Costa turned to SoftExpert and implemented the SoftExpert Excellence Suite.

SoftExpert deployed the SoftExpert Excellence Suite (40+ natively integrated modules) to automate processes, strengthen document control and centralize the maintenance program, while helping maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications. As a result of SoftExpert’s solution, GDC has implemented more than 1,400 action plans and carried out over 2,200 activities, improving control, traceability and reducing deviations.
