CSN Paraná Improves Indicators Management and Aligns Employees with the Organization's Goals

Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN)’s Paraná lamination and coating unit in Araucária struggled with slow, manual performance management: updating more than 100 indicators, manual opening and analysis of CAR/PARs, rework to ensure accuracy, spreadsheet vulnerabilities, and dependence on people for information. To address these challenges CSN implemented SoftExpert’s SE Performance module.

SoftExpert worked with CSN to deploy SE Performance (interactive scorecards, strategic maps, dashboards and integration with SE Action), used by about 40 employees, to automate and secure indicator management. The SoftExpert solution cut indicator-update time by 42 days per year, improved accuracy and protection of data (eliminating vulnerable spreadsheets), democratized access to information, eased analysis in management meetings, and better aligned people, processes and indicators with CSN’s strategic objectives.
