Cooper Industries’ CooperTools division needed to tighten process control, improve document management and meet international quality standards across its manufacturing operations. To address these challenges they selected SoftExpert, deploying the vendor’s web-based SoftExpert solution for enterprise quality, content and process management to enable continuous improvement and real-time preventive and corrective actions.

SoftExpert implemented an integrated, web-based system that remediates nonconformities, tracks root causes, plans and enacts corrective actions, and integrates with Cooper’s ERP. The solution gave Cooper Industries faster document retrieval for auditors, stronger compliance with ISO requirements, improved process control and greater productivity—delivering time savings, cost reductions and better quality oversight.
