Biosev, part of the Louis Dreyfus Commodities Group and a global leader in sugar and ethanol with 11 production units and ~17,000 employees, faced the need to improve control and productivity across Quality Management, Quality Assurance, EHS, Internal Controls and Engineering. To address these challenges, Biosev engaged SoftExpert and deployed the SoftExpert Excellence Suite—specifically the SoftExpert Document, SoftExpert Project, SoftExpert Request and SoftExpert Action Plan modules.

SoftExpert implemented these integrated, 100% web modules for more than 750 active users, creating a single repository of files, automating document indexing and numbering, and streamlining request, project and action-plan workflows. As a result, Biosev achieved more reliable document control, faster document retrieval, better oversight of corrective actions with clearer deadlines and responsibilities, reduced printing/circulation costs and lower total cost of ownership through the SoftExpert solution.
