NVIDIA, a world-leading manufacturer of GPUs and mobile SoCs, engaged Softeq to refresh the visual experience of its Titanfall live wallpaper used to promote NVIDIA’s SHIELD and graphics product range. The brief was to modernize and optimize the Android/Tegra wallpaper (Unity-driven) to deliver richer, game-themed visuals across tablets and Tegra-enabled devices.
Softeq implemented a Unity-driven solution featuring 3D parallax backgrounds, particle effects (fire, sparks, smoke), tap-triggered interactions, landscape/portrait support and Tegra‑exclusive effects (day‑to‑night transition and titan fall) optimized for Tegra 3+. The updated wallpaper is now live on Google Play, runnable on Android tablets and Tegra devices, successfully delivering the enhanced visual branding NVIDIA sought.
