Tool That Helps Improve Sports Biomechanics

The customer's business is a US medical institution that provides rehabilitation and pain management for sportsmen across multiple locations. They needed to validate an innovative wearable concept for tracking motion of all four limbs and the torso to support sports biomechanics and rehabilitation, and engaged Softeq for R&D and product concept validation.

Softeq designed a multi‑sensor, battery‑powered wearable system (accelerometer, gyroscope, heart sensor, vibration motor) with bilateral limb sensors and a trunk belt, plus mobile and web apps for real‑time analysis, haptic feedback, remote clinician guidance, and secure data storage. Softeq delivered a detailed product requirements document and step‑by‑step software roadmap that clarified implementation, validated product viability, and positioned the client to move into development and clinical trials.
