Revolution Robotics, a US tech company creating robotics programs for children, wanted to develop a new, low-cost electronic kit for schools. Their challenge was to create a product with functionality similar to competitors like LEGO MINDSTORMS but at a more affordable price. They engaged Softeq to develop the solution's hardware and software components.

Softeq designed and built a programmable Lego-like electronic kit that allows users to assemble robots and control their sensors and motors via a smartphone. The solution included open-source hardware, scalable firmware, and support for over 530 parts. Softeq successfully delivered the complete Revolution Robotics Challenge Kit on time and within the client's strict budget constraints, resulting in a multi-unit, low-cost product ready for the market.
