A pharmaceutical products distributor engaged SOFTEQ to build a B2B e‑commerce portal for pharmaceuticals trading. The customer needed a technology partner with strong web-technology expertise and distributed project management experience to deliver a Magento-based marketplace with full e‑commerce capabilities, payment and shipping gateway integration, and support for product catalogs governed by the state Ministry of Health.

SOFTEQ implemented a Magento B2B stock marketplace with seller, buyer and admin accounts, product/batch/order management, payment and shipping gateway integration, SSL/MD5/Base64 security measures, and Scrum-driven delivery. SOFTEQ successfully delivered the alpha version meeting the client’s requirements; the platform is positioned to streamline direct pharmaceutical sales, improve supplier–buyer matchmaking, surface industry statistics for market opportunities, and will be extended with Auction and Live Chat features.
