One of the top-tier Flash companies engaged SOFTEQ to improve firmware quality and speed releases. Faced with complex embedded firmware, device drivers and diagnostics needs, the customer required automated testing, remote process tracking and faster time-to-market; SOFTEQ responded by offering continuous integration-based testing and turn-key Test Labs as part of a dedicated offshore development center (ODC).

SOFTEQ implemented an automated CI testing service and an SSD Test Lab (25 remote PCs supporting up to 4 SSDs each), enabling remote access to logs, debugging and one-day QA turnarounds. The engagement scaled the ODC to ~100 embedded engineers, delivered repeatable automated testing without constant engineer intervention, and produced faster verification cycles and more reliable high-performance firmware for the customer.
