One of the biggest and most famous sports brands in the world engaged Softeq to explore new uses for its advanced wearable technology by building a proof-of-concept mobile surf app. The customer needed a solution that would ingest sensor data (GPS, accelerometer), enable real-time visualization of a surfer’s route, support online data synchronization, and provide performance analysis and sharing capabilities.

Softeq delivered a modular C++/Objective‑C POC with synchronization, graphical route-drawing and sharing modules, plus a fast algorithm to approximate path coordinates under changing map scale and rotation. Delivered on time and on budget, Softeq’s solution produced real-time visualization, session metrics (calories, distance, duration), and shareable routes—demonstrating feasibility and clear new use cases for the customer’s wearable tech.
