Precise Pet Activity Monitoring And Safety Control

WAGZ needed a wearable IoT solution to precisely monitor dogs’ location, fitness and behavior and to improve safety (preventing car accidents and strays). They engaged Softeq to deliver full-stack development and hardware/enclosure design for a smart dog collar, including embedded Linux, mobile (Xamarin) and web (AngularJS) components.

Softeq built a multi-sensor smart collar (i.MX6 camera module, GPS, 4‑leg step counter, car-light detection with LED warnings, barking-detection, owner voice streaming) and integrated AWS IoT (MQTT), progressing the product to mass-production. Softeq’s end-to-end solution enabled real-time location tracking, daily fitness metrics and in-collar safety alerts that reduce straying and accident risk, accelerating product readiness and market launch.
