A Softeq Case Study
NVIDIA Corporation needed a way to help attendees navigate a dense, multi‑track conference program and get up‑to‑the‑minute event information for its 2012 GPU Technology Conference (and earlier at BlizzCon 2011, where NVIDIA was Blizzard Entertainment’s technology partner). To solve this, NVIDIA engaged Softeq to deliver a cross‑platform Event and Session Manager mobile app (iOS and Android) built via Softeq’s software engineering services.
Softeq implemented an XML‑driven app with schedule, personalized “My Schedule,” interactive floor maps, tournament results, video replays and real‑time news, launching both iOS and Android versions weeks before the events. The apps were published on Google Play and the App Store, supported events that drew over 10,000 visitors, and achieved more than 5,000 installs on Google Play alone, demonstrating clear attendee engagement and timely information delivery.
