Atlas Copco, a Fortune 500 industrial equipment company in Sweden, needed a multi‑platform e‑magazine/news app to deliver its HTML5‑coded BUILD Magazine to iOS and Android users but had limited mobile development experience and required a full‑cycle partner for architecture, development and app‑store distribution. After a competitive selection, Atlas Copco chose Softeq to lead the effort.
Softeq delivered a responsive HTML5 e‑magazine app for Apple Newsstand and Google Play with embedded video playback, an SMTP‑enabled contact form, and localization in seven languages (English, Russian, French, Swedish, Spanish, Chinese, German). Softeq met all project goals: the app was submitted to Google Play, is available for free download with pre‑loaded BUILD issues, and provides a smoother, multi‑language mobile reading experience.
