Chrometrix Systems, a laboratory equipment supplier, needed a way to add value to its humidity and temperature monitoring equipment by letting customers access, process, and manage sensor data through mobile devices or a dedicated server. After a tender process, it selected Softeq because of the team’s strong mobile, hardware, and electronics integration expertise, as well as its ability to meet budget and timeline expectations.

Softeq built a SaaS-based data acquisition and management system that combined sensors, a data retrieval unit, a mobile/desktop Data Processing Application, and a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The solution enabled secure storage and transfer of measurements in XML/JSON formats, supported regulatory compliance, and was developed using Scrum. Softeq delivered the first LIMS phase on time and on budget, with additional improvements planned and the sensor/DPA unit nearing completion.
