Leveraging Technologies Available Only To Microsoft's Select Vendors

Global Sports Company needed to extend a mobile sports proof of concept app with high-speed, slow-motion video capabilities, but the required hardware-driven feature depended on a Microsoft-only API and specific Windows Phone devices that were not readily available. Softeq was brought in to help recreate and test the app on Windows Phone smartphones and tablets.

Softeq implemented the slow-motion video functionality using the high-speed video API through its Microsoft partnership, then fine-tuned the app through remote testing at Microsoft’s site. The project also led to an SDK for the iOS version to support static and dynamic overlays on slow-mo video, expanding the app’s functionality across platforms.
