A Softeq Case Study
A world’s leading microprocessor manufacturer engaged Softeq to build an iPad demo app for a U.S. professional basketball association to manage player data, simulate trades and assess budget changes. The work drew on Softeq’s prior collaboration with the customer and used iOS (Objective‑C) development to deliver a polished, user‑focused demo.
Softeq implemented a role‑based iPad app (Coaches can view teams, drag players to run “what if” scenarios, save scenario history and edit salaries locally; Managers can edit player salaries/statuses), integrated with the Kinduct API for player data, secured uploads with credential checks, and was developed using Scrum. The customer reported positive feedback from association representatives and Softeq met all first‑phase goals, clearing the way for additional feature development.
