HP engaged Softeq to build and operate the HP iPAQ Developer Program — a portal-based developer ecosystem to promote the iPAQ platform. HP’s challenge was to deliver documentation, custom SDKs, device loan/purchase management, membership billing, and multi-level technical support to attract new members and empower existing developers across the product lifecycle.

Softeq designed and maintained the portal with three membership tiers, curated knowledge bases, custom SDKs, credit-card membership processing, device inventory and loaner logistics, and 1st–3rd level ticketed support, plus co‑marketing and certification options. The program grew to 15,000+ members, attracted thousands of new developers, boosted overall development productivity, and became recognized as a leading mobile developer support service, with Softeq serving as the program’s system integrator throughout.
