SOFTEQ worked with a repeat telecommunications customer to deliver a web portal for managing media streaming devices as part of its Digital Signage Engine solution. The customer needed a centralized way for support engineers and admins to configure account and device operation—adding/removing customers, assigning devices, selecting screen layouts, scheduling restarts and updates, and controlling content output.

SOFTEQ implemented a Java-based portal built with Java, Spring and Google Web Toolkit, using user authentication and SSL to secure connections. The solution centralized account settings and device configuration, enabling admins to manage customers and devices, schedule updates/restarts, and control screen layouts—improving operational efficiency, security, and supportability for the customer’s digital signage deployment.
