SOFTEQ partnered with a leading sports products manufacturer to develop a sensor-rich golf club and an Objective‑C iOS app that would let golfers track, visualize, analyze and store performance stats. The customer’s challenge was delivering reliable, low-power middleware that could move large sensor datasets from the club to mobile and desktop apps without data loss.

SOFTEQ built a middleware solution featuring a low‑RAM, low‑power, high‑performance controller, a 2.4 GHz retransmission unit and an advanced algorithm for progressive no‑loss transmission; the stack feeds the iOS app (and MacOS desktop app) for real-time visualization and storage. As a result, SOFTEQ enabled energy-efficient, reliable transfer of large data batches—mobilizing golfers’ performance data with no loss and improved device battery performance.
