A Softeq Case Study

Helping Organize Docs And Plan Safer Trips

Planiversity, a Germany-based travel startup offering route and destination planning, engaged Softeq after a previous vendor left a buggy Ruby codebase and incomplete handover. Planiversity needed experienced Ruby/Rails engineers for bug patching, feature delivery and a reliable long-term tech partner to stabilize its trip-booklet creation system and improve the user-facing front end.

Softeq delivered a Ruby on Rails–based solution (MySQL, JS/jQuery) that patched the codebase, built static pages, added a language bar, push notifications, social-login options, responsive design and features to assemble printable PDF travel booklets (routes, weather, maps, fuel stops, embassy/hospital info and uploaded documents). Softeq met deadline and budget constraints, established an ongoing support relationship with Planiversity, and stabilized the product for continued customer acquisition and use.
