A Softeq Case Study
The customer, a global provider of corporate audio‑visual and video conferencing solutions, engaged Softeq to build a proof‑of‑concept interactive museum guide to support a tender for a Jerusalem museum. They required strong hardware design and firmware expertise plus proven mobile software prototyping to deliver an IR‑based location and multimedia content system within a short timeline and to a high quality standard.
Softeq delivered an Android application, an IR‑powered USB device, and a web backend to enable IR‑triggered geofencing, automatic audio/video sync, language selection, real‑time feedback and rewards. The prototype was completed on budget and on schedule, the live demonstration met all requirements, and the client is now in active discussions with Softeq about a full implementation to enhance visitor engagement across exhibitions.
