Facilitate Financial Reporting And Transactions Tracking Across Chain Stores

A U.S.-based provider of product development, custom application development and IT consulting services with software development facilities in Russia engaged SOFTEQ to solve a low-level embedded engineering challenge. The customer needed a driver-level proxy utility so a fiscal data recorder (FDR) could capture and manage POS transaction data across chain stores, enable accurate receipt control for tax reporting, and required a setup utility and a testing app to validate the solution.

SOFTEQ implemented a proxy driver, a setup utility and a testing application enabling EPM communication, session management, fiscalization (create/close/cancel receipts, add/remove items, industry codes, QR codes) and X/Z reporting. SOFTEQ delivered the project on time and on budget; the resulting utility provides SMBs a holistic view of transactions across stores and simplifies financial reporting to the local tax office, improving transaction tracking and compliance.
