The Leading Sports and Action Camera Manufacturer partnered with Softeq to build a cross-platform C++ library for a Windows/Mac desktop app that would let users upload camera media to major social networks. The challenge was to deliver this within a tight internal release schedule while handling low-level integration and social media APIs.

Softeq implemented a C++ solution compatible with the customer’s API, enabling background uploads to Facebook and YouTube with progress display plus pause and cancel controls. Softeq also worked around YouTube’s lack of official Windows support by creating wrappers and helpers, delivering the project on budget and on time, which helped avoid disruption to the customer’s production units.
