Altius Test Prep, a U.S. MCAT preparation company, needed a web-based e-learning platform to deliver and sell full-length and mini practice exams but faced a tight deadline, unclear technical vision, and the need to integrate with a 3rd-party legacy system. SOFTEQ was engaged to design and build the e-Learning Platform, offering a clear project plan and development services to implement the required exam functionality, integration, and secure access.

SOFTEQ delivered a two-part solution—an Admin Portal for creating and scoring tests and a User Portal for students to take proctored-style, full-length and mini-tests with single sign-on, link expiration for free trials, and rules-based automatic score calculation—plus SSL security and integration with the existing third-party stack. SOFTEQ met the delivery deadline despite increased scope; the system was rolled out across the U.S. and Canada, enabling realistic AAMC MCAT practice under proctored conditions and earning high customer satisfaction from Altius Test Prep.
