A Management, Business and Technology consulting company engaged SOFTEQ as a Dedicated Team to develop desktop capture apps for its family of multichannel video recorders. The customer needed experienced software engineers to build PC+app solutions that optimize copying of audio/video content, support multiple camcorders, and simplify distribution for broadcasting professionals.

SOFTEQ delivered a QML-based client-server desktop suite on Linux that captures up to four camcorders, compresses to H.264, records to local storage and clones recordings to up to nine USB pen drives simultaneously, supports FTP upload, watermarking/timestamps, and recording presets—including low-level kernel work to enable multi‑USB recording. The solution was shipped for the customer’s marketing activities, enabled faster, scalable content distribution, and led to ongoing collaboration with SOFTEQ on mobile app development.
