Baby Products Company, a smart baby products manufacturer, needed a partner with full-cycle software development expertise to build an IoT ecosystem for its smart bassinet. Softeq was selected to develop a mobile app and secure web backend from scratch, while also reworking parts of the existing firmware for the connected product.

Softeq delivered the fully functional solution in six months, using Xamarin for the iOS and Android apps and a microservices-based AWS backend to connect the app, backend, firmware, and hardware. Softeq’s QA team tested the system throughout development, helping fix issues before launch. The bassinet has since launched successfully and is selling across the U.S., with ongoing product updates continuing from Softeq.
