Softeq partnered with AGU Baby AG, a Swiss producer of baby care products and medical equipment, to address critical performance and user experience issues within their IoT suite. The challenge involved fixing problems such as inaccurate GPS positioning, an unstable connection between the mobile app and connected devices, and a lack of on-device data storage that was causing data loss for users.
The solution from Softeq involved a complete overhaul of the IoT suite, which included fine-tuning connectivity, data exchange, and storage, as well as improving geolocation accuracy. They also implemented a new multi-user Family Account system and a unified user authentication process to prevent account duplication. As a result of these efforts, Softeq helped AGU Baby AG achieve a 300% increase in the number of active users and connect several new smart devices to the ecosystem.
