Access Control System Porting To Dynamic Front-End Web Application Framework

PCS Systemtechnik needed to modernize its INTUS Access access control software, which was originally built in Microsoft Access and struggled to deliver a modern, flexible user experience for managing multiple access points and smaller installations. SOFTEQ was engaged to port the product to a contemporary platform and provide a responsive, browser-accessible front end.

SOFTEQ redesigned INTUS Access as a client–server solution with an AngularJS dynamic front end, revamped the UI, and made the app accessible via mobile and desktop browsers. The updated system manages connected readers, electric door openers, barriers, turnstiles and monitoring contacts, and supports deployments for up to 500 employees and 40 access points, delivering a more deployable and user-friendly access control solution.
